• This guide assumes you are familiar with the Custom Javascript Tool feature in OptinMonster.
• Customizing the close button text is particularly helpful if your campaign is in a language other than English.
• The title used for the close icon is used by screen-reading devices to instruct visitors on the purpose of the close icon.

Customize Close Title

It is helpful if your campaign is in a non-English language to have the close title text match the language of the campaign.

To customize the close title, follow these steps:

1. Copy and paste the following code:
   
2. Change Custom Title Text Here to the title you want to show.
3. Add the Javascript to your OptinMonster campaign using the Custom Javascript Tool.
4. When you’re finished, click Save.
