Did you know that roughly half of all website traffic happens on mobile devices and nearly 80% of smartphone users have used their device to make a purchase?
It’s no surprise that mobile exit-intent is our most-requested feature. And, it’s available for OptinMonster users starting now!
Mobile exit-intent technology gives you even more chances to bring in more sales and subscribers from your site and helps you compete with industry giants like CNN, Sony, Amazon, and more… Without needing a $7 billion operating budget.
So, how does it work?
Triggering Exit-Intent on Mobile Devices
Mobile exit-intent was designed with mobile user behavior in mind. We found that a lot of users scroll back up mobile pages as a gesture to bring down the address bar. Or, they simply tap on the back button.
Either way, OptinMonster’s mobile exit-intent will capture them.
Scroll Up Trigger
Mobile visitors who start scrolling back up on your page are signaling that they’re no longer engaged in the content on that page. This is a great opportunity to give these visitors a reason to stick around.
Mobile exit-intent triggered by scroll up is activated when you add exit-intent to your mobile campaign and choose an Exit Intent® Sensitivity of either Low or Medium.
Back Button Trigger
If a mobile user taps that back button, you know they’re serious about leaving your site. These visitors are ripe for an enticing offer to encourage them to stick around and make a purchase.
Mobile exit-intent triggered by the back button is included with the scroll up trigger when you choose High sensitivity.

As you can see, when we scroll back up the page, the mobile exit offer triggers.
Mobile Exit-Intent Available Now
OptinMonster’s exit-intent technology detects visitor behavior, giving you the chance to keep visitors focused with a targeted marketing message or special offer just before they’re gone forever.
When you consider that more than 70% of the visitors who leave your website never return, having that chance to capture a visitor before they leave is critical.
By using exit-intent, you can convert an additional 2–4% of your visitors into email subscribers and paying customers—easy.
Mobile exit-intent is perfect for:
- Converting would-be abandoned carts
- Growing your email list
- Increasing revenue from affiliate marketing
- Boosting sales
- …and so much more
Let our mobile exit-intent help you convert abandoning website visitors into revenue! Join OptinMonster right now to get access to this killer new feature… your business will thank you for it.
